Frances Sequeira, CHHR, has an extensive and successful career in human resources. Frances first worked at Meadowlands Hospital and Medical Center as the Director of Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all HR functions, including developing and implementing policies and procedures, total reward programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Frances also handled labor relations. Frances then moved on to Liberty HealthCare System, where they served as the Corporate Director of Human Resources. In this position, they were responsible for the overall strategic planning and implementation of HR systems across multiple facilities. Frances played a key role in consolidating and standardizing HR policies and protocols, as well as coordinating negotiations for collective bargaining agreements. After that, Frances joined Bon Secours Health System as the Vice President of Human Resources. Here, they successfully transformed the HR department to align with the organization's strategic direction. Frances implemented strategies for talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and HR metrics and analytics. Most recently, they served as the VP of Talent Management at Elizabeth Seton Children’s. In this role, they led the transformation for talent management and organizational effectiveness. Frances established a high-functioning HR team, transformed talent acquisition and performance management systems, and implemented total rewards systems to enhance benefits and compensation structures. Frances Sequeira, CHHR, holds an MS degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus. Frances also has a BS degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management and Industrial Relations, from Seton Hall University. In addition to their degrees, Frances has obtained the CHHR certification from the American Hospital Association in October 2013.
