Sara Dettore, MBA, LNHA, RAC-CT, OTR/L has had a diverse range of work experience in various healthcare settings. Sara started their career at Northern Manhattan Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as a Director of Rehabilitation, where they implemented a wound treatment program and improved Medicare and Medicaid repayments. Sara then served as the Director of Rehabilitation at Kateri Residence and The Riverside, overseeing large teams and managing scheduling and treatment planning.

Sara later joined Mary Manning Walsh Home as the Director of Rehabilitation Services, where they handled daily operations and ensured maximum revenue generation through Medicare and HMO billing. Sara then transitioned to the role of Chief Clinical Officer, overseeing quality improvements and introducing innovative programs.

Sara's next position was a STAR Consulting Internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they analyzed data and collaborated with senior management on new business opportunities. Sara then joined ArchCare as an Assistant VP Nursing Home Clinical Reimbursement, focusing on business partnerships, data organization, and quality tracking.

Most recently, Sara joined Blythedale Children's Hospital as an Administrator.

Overall, Sara Dettore has demonstrated a strong background in healthcare administration, clinical management, business development, and quality improvement throughout their career.

Sara Dettore, MBA, LNHA, RAC-CT, OTR/L has a diverse education history. In 1996, they began their Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist at Boston University and completed it in 2001. More recently, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Leadership at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.

In addition to their formal education, Sara has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they earned the certification of Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist, Level II from The Back School. In 2013, they became a Level 1 Certified Distance Running Coach through the Road Runners Club of America. Sara also holds the title of Occupational Therapist, which they obtained from the NYC Department of Education in April 2019.

Recently, Sara has continued their professional development by completing additional courses and certifications. Sara completed the course "Decision-Making and Scenarios" from Coursera in May 2020. In September 2020, they obtained a certification in "HLS4X: Bioethics: The Law, Medicine, and Ethics of Reproductive Technologies and Genetics" from HarvardX. Additionally, they are currently in progress towards becoming a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, as recognized by the NY State office.
