Travis Salomaki

Travis Salomaki is a Reservoir Engineer at Elk Range Royalties since April 2024, following a role as a Customer Success Engineer at ComboCurve, Inc. from April 2022 to April 2024, where Travis also served as a Customer Success Engineer Intern. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from October 2021 to March 2022, supporting Dr. Matthew Balhoff on a reservoir simulation textbook, writing Python code for synthetic reservoir data, and developing a 3D visualization tool. In the summer of 2021, Travis was a Geothermal Production Analysis Intern at Calpine, where an automated program for pressure build-up analysis was designed and implemented. Educationally, Travis is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at The University of Texas at Austin (January 2024 - May 2026) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering Honors, along with a minor in Computational Science and Engineering from the same institution.
