Knut Petter Roland

Knut Petter Roland has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Knut Petter began their career in 1992 with an internship at ABB. Knut Petter then worked as a Konstruktør at READ Group for a brief period before joining Laumb Jensen AS as a Sales Engineer in 1993. In 1998, Roland joined Intentia as a Business Consultant / Project Manager, where they worked until 2004. Knut Petter then moved on to Lawson Software, where they served as a Senior Project Manager from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, Roland joined Elkem ASA and held various positions, including IS Manager and IT Director. Knut Petter later became the Vice President Corporate Supply Chain before assuming their current role as the Sourcing Director for Elkem Silicon Products in 2024.

Knut Petter Roland has a diverse education history. Knut Petter began their educational journey in 1986 at BSKA, where they pursued a degree in Fenrik with a focus on Befaskolen for Kystartilleriet. Knut Petter then went on to attend the University of Agder (UiA) from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a DH ingeniør degree in TekØk. In 1991, Knut Petter Roland enrolled at the University of Oslo, specializing in Sosialøkonomi and completing their Grunnfag in 1992. Finally, in 1997, they pursued an MBA degree at Bath Spa University.
