Harold Walt

Harold Walt is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Director of the Mariachi Band After-School Club and Grade 6 World Music/Drum Facilitator at Roosevelt STEAM Academy since August 2017, Harold has also held various roles at Elkhart Community Schools, including the Roosevelt After-school Drumming Program Coordinator and Elementary Wind Orchestra Director. In addition to teaching music across multiple grade levels, Harold has served as an Academic Dean and contributed to the band programs at several schools throughout Indiana. With a solid educational background, including a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Indiana State University and a degree in Education Administration from Bethel University, Harold has continually demonstrated a commitment to enhancing music education in school communities.
