Mark Sardegna joined Elkus Manfredi Architects in 2004 as a Principal, bringing extensive experience in architecture and planning. Mark managed projects such as the New Balance headquarters, Boston Bruins and Celtics training facilities, and the Vertex Pharmaceuticals global headquarters. Mark also played a key role in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's life science master plan and subsequent development. Prior to joining Elkus Manfredi, they held the position of Vice President and Project Executive at the same company. Mark also has experience with other companies such as KEO International Consultants, Koetter Kim & Associates, Sardegna and Little Partners, Inc., DUANY PLATER-ZYBERK & COMPANY, LLC, MCHarry & Associates, Inc., and Ayers Saint Gross, where they held various roles and responsibilities in project management, design, and leadership. Additionally, they served as a panelist for Smart City Connections in 2018.

Mark Sardegna AIA pursued their education at Syracuse University, where they completed a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in 1988. Mark holds no additional certifications as of now.
