Peter Vestbjerg is a seasoned sales and business development professional with extensive experience in the international market. Currently serving as Head of International Sales and Head of Business Development at Ellegaard Göttingen Minipigs since July 2016, Peter has developed a strong expertise in sales management. Prior to this role, Peter held multiple positions at SCANBUR A/S from March 2003 to June 2016, including Sales Manager for Nordic regions and Area Manager for several countries. Peter's career began at Steff-Houlberg Slagterierne AmbA between September 1990 and December 2002, where roles included Export Manager and Sales and Export Assistant. Peter holds an HD (U) degree in Export from Copenhagen Business School and an HH degree from Slagelse Handelsskole.

The stable genetic background is ensured through careful genetic selection and breeding. Göttingen Minipigs are bred in independent, full-barrier, SPF facilities to ensure high microbiological quality, and their well-defined health status is ensured through isolated barrier-breeding and documented in the publically available Health Monitoring Reports. The colonies are health monitored every six months and tested for a wide range of pathogens based on FELASA recommendations. Göttingen Minipigs are recognized as an established animal model by all regulatory authorities worldwide.
