Joe Overbey

Joe Overbey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Joe started their career serving in the New Hampshire Army National Guard as a 13 Bravo from 1992 to 2000. In 2004, they joined Newmarket International as an OnDemand Systems Analyst and worked there until 2010.

From 2010 to 2015, Joe worked at NaviNet, first as a Database Administrator specializing in SQL monitoring and troubleshooting, and later as a Business Intelligence Developer focusing on ETL and data warehouse design.

In 2016, Joe joined NANTHEALTH as a Business Intelligence Lead Engineer, leading the development of enterprise business intelligence reporting systems. Later in the same year, they also joined Ellevation Education as a Senior Data Engineer. In 2020, they were promoted to Data Integration Manager at Ellevation Education, responsible for managing data integration processes. Most recently, they have been serving as a Staff Engineer/Tech Lead (Analytics Data Warehouse) at Ellevation Education since August 2022.

Joe Overbey has a diverse education history. Joe started their education at the University of New Hampshire from 1993 to 1996, where they pursued a field of study in English Language and Literature. Although they did not obtain a degree during this time, it is the extent of their academic experience at this institution.

Later, from 2002 to 2004, Joe attended the New Hampshire Community Technical College. During this period, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Technologies.

In addition to their formal education, Joe has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the "Using Python to Access Web Data" course through Coursera Course Certificates. Joe also accomplished the "R Programming" course and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" course, both verified by Coursera Certificates, in 2015 and 2015, respectively.

Furthermore, Joe holds multiple Microsoft certifications, including "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" obtained in 2013, "MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance" obtained in 2013, "MCITP DBA SQL 2005" obtained in 2010, "MCITP: Database Administrator on SQL Server 2005" obtained in 2010, and "MCTS SQL 2005, SQL 2008" obtained in 2009.
