Lara Atkins

Lara Atkins has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Lara is currently working at Ellevation Education as a Partner Success Manager since April 2022. Prior to this, Lara was a Senior Product Support Specialist from January 2022 to April 2022, and a Product Support Specialist from March 2021 to January 2022 at the same company. Before joining Ellevation Education, Lara worked at Denver Public Schools as an English Language Development Interventionist from January 2020 to March 2021. Lara also has experience as an ELL Coordinator from August 2016 to July 2019, and as an Associate Teacher from July 2016 to June 2017 at Brooke Charter Schools. Lara previously worked as an English Second Language Teacher from December 2014 to May 2016 at The Language Company and as a Math Fellow from July 2013 to June 2014 at Denver Public Schools.

Lara Atkins completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from Colorado College, graduating in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Lexington High School from 2005 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Lara obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from Bridge-Linguatec in October 2014. Lara also holds various ESL teaching certifications from the Massachusetts Department of Education, including ESL Teacher for Grades 5-12 (obtained in March 2018), Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Teacher (obtained in July 2017), and ESL Teacher for Grades PreK-6 (obtained in May 2017). Recently, Lara acquired the Connect for Emerging Leaders - Leadership Training certification from Eager Labs in February 2022.
