Johanna Kardel

Johanna Kardel has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Johanna is currently the Head of Regulatory Affairs Energy at Elli - A Brand of the Volkswagen Group as of November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Manager Public & Regulatory Affairs at BWO - Bundesverband der Windparkbetreiber Offshore e.V. from October 2017 to November 2021. Before that, they worked as a Referentin Team Energie und Bauen at Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband from April 2013 to September 2017. Johanna also had a stipend at Laboratorio Technológico de Uruguay (LATU) from September 2012 to December 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Projektassistentin at VCD Verkehrsclub Deutschland from May 2011 to September 2012, and as a Freelancer at Enertrag AG from November 2010 to July 2011. Johanna'swork experience also includes a sustainability communication internship at Deutsche Bahn from April 2010 to September 2010.

Johanna Kardel completed their High School Diploma at Heartland Community High School from 2002 to 2003. Johanna then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Europa-Studien at Technische Universität Chemnitz, graduating in 2010. In 2008, they participated in an Erasmus program at the University of South Brittany, focusing on Sciences Politiques. Subsequently, Johanna earned a Master's degree in Europa-Studien from the European-University Viadrina, completing their studies in 2013.
