Raymond Scott has extensive experience in the field service sector, currently working at Ellicott Dredges since 2010, where responsibilities include assembling dredges for international customers and training personnel in maintenance and operation. Prior to this role, Raymond served as a Field Service Technician at Ellicott Dredges, focusing on dredge assembly and operator training. Raymond's earlier career includes serving as an instructor at General Dynamics Information Technology, teaching military students automotive and power generation skills, and managing warehouse operations at Fidelity Engineering Corp, overseeing shipping and preparation of customer equipment. Raymond retired as a Staff Sergeant after 20 years of service in the US Army. Educational background includes a Master Technician degree in Automotive and Diesel Engineering from National Technical Schools in Los Angeles and ongoing studies at Central Texas College.

Ellicott Dredges engineers and manufactures innovative dredges and dredging equipment, which are being used for infrastructure projects worldwide. Ellicott® is the world’s oldest and largest builder of small and medium-sized cutter suction dredges. Ellicott engineering leverages the latest 3D modeling technology available to ensure that our design efforts are streamlined from concept through production. We utilize Finite Element Analysis techniques to eliminate the potential for design failures and expedite our time to market. Ellicott’s engineering staff draws from both a long history and a diverse background to bring sophisticated designs to the market which are easy to operate and maintain.
