Zack Cohen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical writing, operations, and client service. At Ellicott Dredges since September 2018, Zack has excelled as a Technical Writer and Technical Assistant, responsible for proofreading and publishing manuals, as well as maintaining the technical library and archives. Prior to this, Zack served as a Catalog & Scheduling Specialist at Johns Hopkins University, managing online course catalogs and conducting training sessions. Additional experience includes roles at Agora Publishing, where Zack addressed customer service issues, and Fiducial Business Centers, where operations and auditing systems were developed. Zack began a career as a Paralegal at Venable, LLP, focusing on document analysis. Zack holds a Master's Degree in Professional Writing from Towson University and a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ellicott Dredges engineers and manufactures innovative dredges and dredging equipment, which are being used for infrastructure projects worldwide. Ellicott® is the world’s oldest and largest builder of small and medium-sized cutter suction dredges. We built all of the dredges used in the original construction of the Panama Canal and, since then, have focused on the world market for cutter dredges. Ellicott's dredges are used for sand mining, harbor and navigation maintenance, water reservoir restoration, river and channel dredging, beach restoration and erosion control, and environmental clean-ups to name a few. We have designed and manufactured over 2000 dredges, more than any other manufacturer, and have served customers in over 100 countries. Ellicott engineering leverages the latest 3D modeling technology available to ensure that our design efforts are streamlined from concept through production. We utilize Finite Element Analysis techniques to eliminate the potential for design failures and expedite our time to market. Ellicott’s engineering staff draws from both a long history and a diverse background to bring sophisticated designs to the market which are easy to operate and maintain.
