Melissa Thaxton

Melissa has 20+ years of experience in the managed behavioral healthcare field. Her entire career with the exception of the last two years have been in the payer space. She has both credentialing and contracting experience for individuals, groups and facilities. During her career she has directed credentialing teams, contracting teams, as well as data entry and a national call center.

Melissa is very passionate about customer service and ensuring that both internal and external customers receive the best possible experience when engaged. Her ability to build relationships is one of her best skills. In directing her teams Melissa believes that involving every mind on the team is key.
