Jonathan Merrill

Jonathan Merrill, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as an Associate Member of The Economic Club of New York since November 2024, engaging in discussions on critical issues affecting New York City and beyond. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Director, Institutional & Private Wealth Business Development at Ellington Management Group, starting in February 2024, after serving in a similar role at Carlson Capital, L.P. from February 2022 to February 2024. Jonathan's career also includes experience as Vice President of RIA Business Development at BlackRock from March 2018 to February 2022 and as an Associate in RIA Business Development at John Hancock Investments from October 2014 to March 2018. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics between 2010 and 2014.
