Bob Jamison has over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry with a concentration in the areas of strategic planning, security, implementation and systems integration.

Bob is focused on aligning technology investments, with strategic firm priorities, using an IT Governance Framework with a focus on security and privacy. His analysis of investments includes financial, risk, and the impact on; the firm, its employees, and its clients. This holistic investment approach is used to create an “Investment Dashboard” which is used strategically across the firm, helping all to understand the impact of investments, and to provide transparency. During his time at Elliott Davis, he has been heavily involved with over 25 merger and acquisitions and geographic expansions.

Bob functions within the firm at a high level and is involved with executive leadership teams and reports to the Managing Shareholder. As the Chief Privacy Officer, he has the responsibility of overseeing the Information Security Program and ensuring all aspects of the firm, has consideration for security and privacy. As Chief Information Office, he has the responsibility of, developing innovation plans, resource allocation, budgeting, investment transparency and operational effectiveness for business units, across the firm.

Before joining Elliott Davis, he worked for the Department of Defense, and Simon Schuster. He was involved many large integration and system design challenges, revolving around mainframe, UNIX, Macintosh, and satellite communications. During this period he spent over five years overseas, primarily in Germany and Spain working with many different nationalities
