Cody Nystrom

Cody Nystrom is a Managing Director at SJF Ventures. SJF Ventures invests in high-growth companies creating a healthier, smarter and cleaner future. She joined the firm in 2007 and leads SJF's health and wellness investment practice. Cody currently represents SJF on the boards of Ellipsis Health, Take Command Health, PierianDx, mPulse Mobile, TemperPack, Solera Health, Validic and Cecelia Health.

Cody also serves on advising committees for the Center for Innovative Technology and the Virginia Solar Energy Development and Energy Storage Authority. Cody was previously with Ewing Bemiss & Co., a middle-market investment bank providing M&A and financial advisory services to companies in the energy and healthcare services sectors.

Cody graduated summa cum laude from the University of Virginia with a BS in Systems and Information Engineering and a minor in Business. In her free time, she enjoys keeping up with her two kids in Richmond, Virginia and opportunistically finding time to play tennis, cook gourmet vegetarian meals and plan travel adventures.
