Richard Whyte

Richard Whyte has extensive experience in the civil engineering sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President, Preconstruction and Estimating for the Civil Division at EllisDon since June 2014. Prior roles at EllisDon include Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Toronto Civil, Vice President and Area Manager, Chief Estimator, Senior Estimator, and Estimator. Before joining EllisDon, Richard Whyte worked at Aecon as an Estimator and Project Coordinator from May 2006 to June 2014, and began a career at the City of Hamilton as a Construction Inspector from May 2001 to August 2003. Richard Whyte holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from McMaster University, earned between 2000 and 2006.
