Wangzhao Song

Wangzhao Song is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in product development and research within the field of medical artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Medical Director at Ellogon AI B.V. since February 2022, Wangzhao leads the company's R&D initiatives and collaborates closely with the leadership team to implement investment strategies. Concurrently, Wangzhao contributes as an External Senior Postdoc at The Netherlands Cancer Institute, focusing on AI-driven projects related to pathology. Prior roles include Site Coordinator and Scientific Manager at Novamedik Bioresearch, Team Member at CoronaSurveys, and Clinical Pathology Fellow at UMCG. Wangzhao holds a PhD in Soft Tissue and Bone Tumors from the University of Groningen, a Master's in Pathology from Tianjin Medical University, and a degree in Medical Science from Henan University of Science and Technology.
