Brett Seybert

Brett Seybert has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Brett began their career in 2012 as a Technical Support at IBEX | Global. In the same year, they joined Tennessee State University as a Technical Writer and Communications Specialist, where they were responsible for writing, editing, and creating various publications, maintaining the college website, and serving as a liaison to media members.

In 2015, Brett moved to Columbia State Community College as a Development Officer and Director of Grants & Prospect Research. During their time there, they also served as an Adjunct English Instructor. Brett'srole involved managing grants and prospect research, as well as teaching English courses.

In 2019, Brett joined The Niswonger Foundation as a Program Coordinator for Career & Workforce Readiness. Brett led and assisted with various aspects of the CareerConnect and WE Track initiatives, aimed at providing career-readiness programs to high school students.

Currently, Brett is employed at Ellucian as a Senior Grants Specialist, a position they have held since December 2019. Brett was recently promoted to the role of Principal Grants Specialist in July 2022.

Brett Seybert completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at Milligan College from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in English Literature at East Tennessee State University from 2009 to 2011.
