Brett Seybert has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Brett began their career in 2012 as a Technical Support at IBEX | Global. In the same year, they joined Tennessee State University as a Technical Writer and Communications Specialist, where they were responsible for writing, editing, and creating various publications, maintaining the college website, and serving as a liaison to media members.

In 2015, Brett moved to Columbia State Community College as a Development Officer and Director of Grants & Prospect Research. During their time there, they also served as an Adjunct English Instructor. Brett'srole involved managing grants and prospect research, as well as teaching English courses.
