Charita Matthews

Charita Matthews, MBA, is an accomplished Chief Information Officer currently at Ellucian since May 2023, previously serving as the Director of Data & Analytics Operations at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. With extensive experience in IT management and application services, Charita led critical efforts in data architecture and analytics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and played a pivotal role in transitioning Becker College to online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic while serving as Chief Information Officer at Ellucian from 2016 to 2021. Prior to these roles, Charita held management and analytical positions at Norfolk State University, directing application services and implementing financial systems. Charita holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from Christopher Newport University and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Troy University.
