Matthew Phillips

Matthew Phillips is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture, database administration, and systems programming. Currently serving as a Sr. Cloud Architect at Ellucian since January 2008, Matthew has defined technical and integration architecture for the Ellucian Cloud and has provided leadership across multiple teams. Prior roles include Delivery Manager and Senior Oracle DBA at Ellucian, leading a team to deliver DBA services for 32 clients, and DBA Team Lead at Tek Systems, where Matthew supported Oracle Applications for Cummins Filtration. Additional experience includes managing Oracle Database administration at SunGard Higher Education and programming support at Harding University, where Matthew began a career in IT. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Harding University.
