Nate Barkei

Nate Barkei is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system administration and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Senior System Administrator at Ellucian since October 2017, Nate has successfully led projects focused on modernizing datacenters through the implementation of Nutanix hyperconverged solutions and managing network setups across multiple locations. Prior to this role, Nate worked at Union County College for over 15 years, where responsibilities included leading the design and maintenance of a private cloud infrastructure, enhancing Active Directory and DNS systems, and teaching computer-related courses. With a strong background in both technical implementation and education, Nate Barkei combines practical expertise with a commitment to improving IT systems and educating others in technology.
