Gary Cook, PMP, CSM, SGP, ITIL has worked in various roles in the IT field since 1993. From 1993 to 1999, they worked in Real Estate Sales and Property Management as a Salesperson. From 1999 to 2008 they worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Performance Engineer and Senior Systems Architect/Testing Manager Automation. From 2008 to 2010 they worked at URS as a Senior Systems Engineer/Project Manager. From 2010 to 2011 they worked at LongView International Technology Solutions as a Senior Integrations Systems Engineer and at St. Petersburg College as a Part Time Faculty. From 2011 to 2015 they worked at PSI as Manager of Performance Testing Group for the Veterans Administration. From 2015 to 2016 they worked at LongView International Technology Solutions as a Program Manager. From 2016 to 2022 they worked at Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) as a Program Manager. Currently, they work at Ellumen, Inc. as a Senior Program Manager.

Gary attended Webb Middle School from 1983 to 1985, Jefferson Highschool from 1985 to 1987, Eckerd College from 1999 to 2002 where they earned a Bachelors in MIS, and the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business from 2003 to 2006 where they earned an MS-TIM in Technology, Management Innovation. Gary also has attended the University of South Florida. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including a Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2011, a Certified SAFe 5 Government Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020, an ITIL Foundation Level from ITIL Foundation Certification Training Level, and a Project Management Professional from 11352.
