Jay Cooper Jr. has extensive experience in program management and logistics within the defense sector, currently serving as a Program Manager at Ellwood National Forge since September 2013. Prior to this role, Jay held multiple senior non-commissioned officer positions in the United States Air Force from November 2005 to June 2013, including HQ Air Combat Command Munitions Acquisition & Logistics Manager, where responsibilities involved critical roles in advanced weapons configuration and support for a $6 billion weapons program. As a HQ Air Combat Command Life Cycle Sustainment & Logistics Manager, Jay influenced logistics and maintenance policies across 20 organizations supporting 5,000 personnel. Additionally, as Precision Munitions, Accountability, Maintenance & Production Manager, oversight was provided for a $188 million tactical missile systems stockpile. Jay is actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Management from Capella University, building on an Associate’s Degree in Munitions Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
