Byron McDuffee is the current President & CEO at Elm Street Technology. Prior to this, they were with DealerSocket from November 2020 to July 2022, where they served as Chief Operating Officer.

At DealerSocket, Byron led multi-functional teams providing vertical ERP software, consulting services, digital marketing and inventory management to OEMs, retailers, and consumers with P&L responsibility. Byron also led a team of 600+ with functional responsibility including customer onboarding, training, consulting, customer success, customer technical support, strategy and corporate development, marketing, commercial strategy, pricing, business intelligence, and global program management.

Under Byron's leadership, the company recorded setting customer retention over 2 consecutive quarters - prior to being acquired by Solera. Byron also improved service levels by 15% while reducing labor costs by 20%. In addition, Byron successfully migrated 1200 dealers to new quoting platform in 60 days and was the business lead on acquisition for largest North American connected vehicle intelligence platform (Solera/Spireon).

Byron McDuffee earned their Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with an emphasis in Computer Science from North Central College. Byron then went on to complete Executive Education from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. After that, they completed the Global Leadership Development Program from ADP, Inc. Lastly, they completed General Management from LeaderPoint, Inc.
