Susan Gerock

Susan Gerock has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and leadership. Susan started their career at Corporate Office Properties Trust in 2006, where they served as Vice President of IT Applications Services until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they owned their own business, Zoe Boutique. In 2012, they returned to Corporate Office Properties Trust as the Senior Vice President of IT and CIO, a position they held until 2016. That same year, they joined Elme Communities as the Senior Vice President of IT and Chief Information Officer. Currently, they are a Founding Member at Chief, a private network focused on empowering senior women leaders. Their role at Chief began in 2021 and will continue until 2023.

Susan Gerock received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Economics from William & Mary in the years 1984 to 1988. Afterward, they pursued further education, earning a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia between 2003 and 2004.
