Elías Alabarce

Elías Alabarce has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Currently, they are serving as a Lead Product Designer at elmeunebot, where they focus on solving business problems through user-centric design for a large insurance company. Elías is skilled in creating innovative solutions based on briefing requirements, benchmarking, and existing design systems while considering development costs. Elías also conducts usability tests to validate and iterate on their designs.

Prior to this, Elías founded Academia Baroja in 2021 and served as its Director. Elías led a team of five teachers and helped students achieve academic success in languages and other subjects. Elías also collaborated with a public high school, offering free services to specific students.

Before founding Academia Baroja, Elías worked at Beebit as a UX/UI Designer and Project Manager. Elías started as a Junior UX/UI Designer before being promoted. During their time at Beebit, they gained valuable experience in managing projects and designing user-friendly interfaces.

Elías Alabarce has a Master's degree in Design Thinking & UX/UI Design from Barreira Arte y Diseño, which was completed from 2021 to 2022. Prior to this, they received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Universidad de Sevilla from 2018 to 2021, and also studied Journalism at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2019 to 2020. Earlier, Elías pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2016 to 2018. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google in the year 2021. Elías Alabarce also completed Mandarin Chinese for Beginners at the Confucius Institute of Madrid during 2020 and 2021.
