Joe Geocaris

Joe Geocaris currently serves as the Literacy Division Chair at Elmhurst District 205 Public Schools since July 2023. Prior to this role, Joe held the position of Division Chair for English and Fine Arts at East Aurora School District 131 from July 2019 to July 2023. Joe's experience in education spans several roles, including English Teacher and Technology Coach at Community School District 99 South from August 2012 to July 2019, and a Teacher position at Adlai Stevenson High School from August 2004 to June 2012. Additional experience includes serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Truman College in 2010 and as an English Teacher at Prospect High School and a Teacher Aide at Downers Grove North High School. Joe Geocaris holds a Master's degree in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from Concordia University Chicago, a Master's in New Media Studies from DePaul University, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Eastern Illinois University.
