Robert Kovacs has a strong background in food safety and quality assurance. ROBERT is currently serving as the Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Elmira Pet Products since March 2020. Prior to this, they held a similar position at Conestoga Meats from January 2015 to March 2020 and at Cargill from October 2010 to June 2011. Robert also has experience in managerial roles, having worked as the Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Conestoga Meats from June 2011 to January 2015, at L.H. To enhance their knowledge in food safety and quality assurance, Kovacs pursued a Master's Degree in Food Safety and Quality Assurance from the University of Guelph from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Kovacs has obtained multiple certifications, including Certified BRCGS Storage & Distribution Lead Auditor from BRCGS in 2023 and Certified BRCGS for Food Safety Lead Auditor from Intertek SAI Global in 2022.
