Gershon Levy

Gershon Levy has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Gershon began their career in 1981 as a Production Manager and Site Financial Controller at FatStock Marketing Corporation, where they were responsible for managing production, budgeting, and financial control. In 1986, they transitioned to the role of Financial Controller and Financial Software Consultant at Professional Computing. From 1991 to 1996, Levy worked as a Professional Teacher at JFS/Freelance Teacher.

In 1997, Levy joined HP Indigo as a Professional Technical Writer, where they specialized in writing various documentation and utilizing 3-D CAD graphics. During this time, they were also trained in single sourcing applications. In the same year, they started their own company, G. Levy, where they worked as a Technical Writer and Editor. Gershon managed and authored technical and marketing manuals, brochures, documentation projects, and training presentations for various companies in mechanical engineering, electronics, networking, robotics, and software industries. Additionally, they served as the manager of a writers' group in technical and engineering companies.

Levy continued their career as a Senior Technical Writer at EVS ScanMaster from 2004 to 2011. In this role, they contributed to the creation of technical documentation. Gershon then joined TraderTools as a Senior Technical Writer in 2009, where they were responsible for writing a complete set of documentation for the company's FX Software product.

In 2011, Levy became the Team Leader for Technical and Marketing Writing at Elmo Motion Control. In this position, they managed a team of Tech/Marcomm/Design personnel and oversaw the creation of all internal and client technical and marketing documentation. Gershon also managed the writing of brochures, PRs, E-Blasts, web pages, and API documentation in various programming languages.

Gershon Levy has a diverse education history that spans several years and institutions. From 1963 to 1968, they attended Yavneh Grammar School where they obtained their O Level High School Diplomas with a focus on sciences. Following this, they pursued further education in chemistry. From 1978 to 1985, Gershon studied at UCL London, Chelsea College, Institute of Ed, and UL, earning a B.Sc, M.Sc, Dip. Chem., PGCE, and Dip Ed in Chemistry.

In addition to their formal education, Gershon Levy has also obtained various certifications over the years. In 1997, they completed a Technical Writing course at the Department of Employment, Israel. In 2013, they received a Certificate of Merit from Elmo Motion Control. Lastly, Gershon has accumulated 5 years of experience at Elmo Motion Control, which they obtained in April 2016.
