Laura Soder

Laura Soder is an experienced professional in animal engagement and environmental education with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Manager of Ambassador Animal Engagement and Educator at Elmwood Park Zoo since April 2017, Laura has previously held positions at organizations such as Wildlands Conservancy PA and The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, both as an Environmental Educator. Additional experience includes roles as Animal Care & Exhibits Coordinator/Naturalist at Irvine Nature Center and Naturalist at Oregon Ridge Nature Center. Laura began their career with internships at notable institutions including the Philadelphia Zoo and Squam Lakes Natural Science Center. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation & Wildlife Management from Delaware Valley University.
