Christopher Waters

Christopher Waters currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Information Technology and CIO at Elon University, a role held since May 2006, where leadership spans an innovative academic and administrative technology organization across three campuses. Previous positions include Assistant Vice President and CIO, as well as Deputy CIO, overseeing operations of Instructional and Campus Technologies. Prior to Elon University, Christopher Waters was the Director of Teaching and Learning Technologies and Director of Information Systems and Technologies. Earlier experience at Rutgers University included serving as Associate Director, where responsibilities involved launching and managing the RU-tv Network. Christopher Waters holds a Master's degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Public Relations from Elon University.
