Janet Williams

Janet L Williams serves as the Vice President for Finance and Administration and CFO at Elon University since April 2021, overseeing finance, auxiliary services, facilities management, information technology, and human resources. With extensive experience in nonprofit community service leadership since 1995, Janet has held significant roles on various boards. Prior positions include Vice President for Finance at Wake Forest University, Interim Vice President for Finance and Administration at Ithaca College, Finance and Administrative Director at Cornell University, and several managerial roles at Lockheed Martin, Corning Incorporated, and Kraft Foods. Janet earned a BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, an MBA in Production Operations Management from the University of North Texas, and completed postgraduate work in International Accounting at the American College of Switzerland.
