Julia Freeman

Julia "Jules" Freeman has extensive experience in education and student engagement, currently serving as the New Student Orientation Coordinator at Elon University since August 2019. In addition to this role, Julia has worked as an office assistant in the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning and the Center for Engaged Learning and has held multiple mentoring positions, including as an academic mentor in the Disabilities Resources Office and a college access team mentor for the Elon Academy. Julia's leadership experience includes roles such as Team Lead and Leader in the New Student Orientation program. Aside from university work, Julia has been actively involved with Alpha Xi Delta as the Theta Nu New Member Orientation Director and Community Service Director and has experience as a full-time nanny and teacher in various educational settings, including Spectrum Summer Camp and St. Anne's-Belfield School. Julia holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Elon University, earned in 2022.
