Mark Dalhouse

Mark Dalhouse is an experienced academic administrator and educator currently serving as Academic Dean at Duke University since March 2022. Previously, Mark held various roles at Elon University, including Director of Global Experiential Initiatives and Faculty Director for the East Neighborhood, along with other positions focused on study programs and faculty leadership. Mark has also served in significant roles at Washington Internship Institute, Vanderbilt University, St. Albans School, Washington and Lee University, Truman State University, and Miami University, contributing to curriculum development, experiential learning initiatives, and student mentorship. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Twentieth Century US Political History from Miami University, complemented by a Master’s degree from Indiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Cedarville College.
