Runar Bakken

Runar Bakken currently serves as the Director of Strategy and Head of the Strategy Office at Elopak since May 2023, focusing on corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and business performance. Prior experience includes a tenure at KPMG Norway from September 2018 to April 2023, where Runar held roles as Senior Manager and Manager in CFO Advisory, along with Senior Associate responsibilities. Additional experience includes a position as Associate at EYEY from August 2016 to August 2018, and as a Business Analyst - Student Assistant at Falck from April 2015 to February 2016. Early career involvement in sales at Byggmakker spanned from April 2011 to September 2014, managing customer relationships in the construction materials sector. Runar holds a Master's Degree in Accounting, Strategy and Control and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration, both from Copenhagen Business School.
