Yuval Menchik

Yuval Menchik is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in database administration and data architecture. Currently serving as VP of Data at Elpida since July 2025, Yuval previously worked at Outbrain from June 2016 to August 2025, where significant contributions included leading the rebuilding of data flows using Apache Spark and managing the migration of the company's Data Warehouse. Prior experience includes roles at CYREN as DBA Team Leader, overseeing SQL Server and Big Data databases across multiple data centers, and at m-Wise Inc. as DBA Team Leader, responsible for distributed databases. Additional roles as DBA & Software Engineer at Malam and as NMS Software Developer at Powerdsine showcase a strong foundation in software development, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
