Gillian McKay, DrPH, is an accomplished nurse, global health practitioner, and social scientist with 15 years of experience at the intersection of humanitarian response, research, and policy. Currently serving as a Senior Humanitarian Health Research Advisor at Elrha, they lead initiatives on climate and health, ensuring research addresses the needs of crisis-affected communities. Gillian completed their Doctorate of Public Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, focusing on community engagement during Ebola responses, and remains active as an Honorary Research Fellow there.
