Janitha Peries

Janitha Peries is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and product development with extensive experience in R&D and engineering management. Currently serving as Product Development Manager at ELSTEEL since March 2023, Janitha previously held managerial roles in R&D at KIKBLOX and Electro Metal Pressings (Pvt) Ltd. Between 2010 and 2016, Janitha worked at ELSTEEL LTD in several mechanical engineering positions, including Engineer and Assistant Engineer. Early career experiences include internships at Loadstar (Private) Limited and Maga Engineering (Private) Limited, focusing on maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery. Janitha holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management from the University of Colombo and a National Diploma in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
