Dr. Nikolaos Karageorgakis

Dr. Nikolaos Karageorgakis has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial services industry. Dr. Nikolaos currently holds the position of Head of Transformation Project Portfolio at ELTA Hellenic Post SA. Prior to this, they worked at Allianz Insurance as a Digital Innovation Expert/Product Proposition Officer. Dr. Nikolaos also served as Manager of Digital Strategy and PMO at Praxia Bank, and as a Senior Advisor in Financial Services at EY. Dr. Karageorgakis has held positions at RSA, Lloyds Banking Group, Xceed Group, and Marsh & McLennan Companies as well. Dr. Nikolaos began their career at Accenture as a Consultant in Financial Services, where they worked on projects related to business process analysis, data migration, and system implementation. Dr. Nikolaos also gained experience as a Scientific Collaborator at ETH Zurich. Throughout their career, Dr. Karageorgakis has demonstrated expertise in transformation, change management, digital innovation, project management, and risk management.

Dr. Nikolaos Karageorgakis completed their education in the following sequence:

1. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Process Optimisation from ETH Zürich (2007-2010).

2. Master's degree in Nanotechnology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (2004-2006).

3. Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (1999-2004).
