Aaron Ruffels

Aaron Ruffels has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Aaron began their career as a student engineer at PRDW Consulting Port and Coastal Engineers in 2014. Aaron then joined Stefanutti Stocks Marine as a student engineer in 2012, where they gained valuable experience. Aaron also worked as a course tutor at the University of Cape Town in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a methods and planning engineer at Stefanutti Stocks Marine, where they were involved in various projects, including the Dar es Salaam Maritime Gateway Improvement Project and the DRA Bauxite Mine in Guinea. In 2017, they served as a course assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Currently, Aaron is employed as a bridge engineer at ELU Konsult AB, where they have worked since 2018. In this role, they have worked on the detailed design of concrete support columns for the Tvärbanan Kistagrenen project, among others.

Aaron Ruffels earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2018.
