Rohit Swami has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Rohit started their career as a Data Analyst Intern at MyGov India, where they utilized Twitter API to analyze sentiments of the public regarding government policies and campaigns. Rohit then worked as a Data Science Intern at upGrad.com, where they provided feedback on student projects to help them improve their skills. Rohit also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at InterviewBit, where they implemented an auto-suggestion system for queries and reduced query resolution time significantly.
After that, they joined Ignite Solutions as a Software Engineer, where they created and deployed demand forecasting machine learning models and conducted research on big data provided by MasterCard. Rohit also built a back-end in Flask to support the analysis.
Currently, Rohit is working at Elucidata as a Software Engineer. In this role, they have designed and implemented scalable data pipelines on AWS, provided technical support to internal teams and clients, and developed a prototype in React and Flask to streamline job management. Overall, Rohit has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as data analysis, machine learning, and software engineering.
Rohit Swami completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science & Engineering from Lovely Professional University from 2016 to 2020. In 2018, they pursued the Data Scientist Nanodegree Program from Udacity. Before that, from 2011 to 2016, they studied at BSJD Convent School in Fatehabad, Haryana, where they completed their 12th grade in PCM. Additionally, Rohit has obtained several certifications, including "Python for Data Science" from IBM in September 2018, "Data Analysis with Python (DA0101EN)" from IBM Cognitive Class in April 2018, "Hackathon 2.0 | Chandigarh DC" from Infosys in September 2017, "IT Hackathon 2.0 | Rajasthan" from the Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan in August 2017, and "Deep Learning Prerequisites: The NumPy Stack in Python" from Udemy in June 2017.
