Brad Carr has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Brad started their career as a Software Developer at the London Metal Exchange in 1996. Brad then worked as a Team Lead/Developer at LatentZero from 1999 to 2005. After that, they joined BNP Paribas as a Front-Office Commodities Developer from 2005 to 2010. Brad then joined Barclays Capital as a Fund Solutions IT specialist from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they held various roles at BNP Paribas (Singapore), including Director of Information Technology and Head of Core Development, Commodities IT. Brad then worked as a Software Developer at Rokos Capital Management from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Vice President and Physical Metals Tech Lead at JP Morgan. In 2020, they joined Coremont as a Quantitative Developer and later became the Head of Digital Technology from 2022 to 2022. Currently, Brad Carr is working at Elwood as the Head of Engineering in 2023 and has recently been promoted to the role of Chief Architect in 2024.
Brad Carr attended The University of Salford from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a 2.1 degree in Mathematics.
