Kristen Garza has had a wide range of work experience since 2011. Kristen began their career as a Manager at Icing by Claires, where they managed store day to day operations and built a team of employees with strong customer relations skills. From 2012-2021, they were a Human Resources Manager for the US Navy and US Navy Reserve, where they managed external and internal client interactions, personnel onboarding, termination, and transferring programs, and provided support and expertise when assisting customers with filling out internal forms. In 2021, they were an Office Manager/Administrator for Von Mortgage, Team Roya, where they managed social media marketing, executive's assistant, lead generation tracking, and marketing engagement analysis. Currently, they are a Human Resources Manager for ELYON International, where they manage and maintains Bamboo HRIS system, and manages the company's entire employee life cycle process.

Kristen Garza's education history began in 2007 when they attended Heritage High School. In 2016, they began their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Ashford University, which they are still pursuing. In 2017, they attended Washington State University Vancouver and earned their Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Kristen then attended Clark College in 2017 to pursue Early Childhood Education and Teaching, but did not earn a degree. In 2019, they began their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at the University of Arizona, which they are still pursuing.
