Nathan Price

Nathan Price has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Nathan started their career in 2009 as a Communications and Outreach Intern at MAG America. In 2009, they joined the U.S. Department of State where they held various roles, including Foreign Affairs Trainee, Program Officer, and Geospatial Architect. Nathan worked at the U.S. Department of State until 2020. In 2020, Nathan joined the Northern California Regional Land Trust as the Executive Director, and later took on the role of Geospatial Data Scientist as a volunteer. Currently, Nathan is working as a Business Development Manager for Geospatial Services at ELYON International, starting in 2023.

Nathan Price has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) with a major in International Politics from Georgetown University, completed in 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Nathan obtained the following: "Data Science Foundations Specialization," "Databases and SQL for Data Science," "Python for Data Science and AI," "Data Science Methodology," "Tools for Data Science," and "What is Data Science?" from Coursera, all completed in 2020. Furthermore, Nathan completed the "Intro to ChatGPT Course" and "Introduction to Cybersecurity" from Codecademy in April 2023. In terms of military certifications and training, Nathan completed the "Bleeding Control Basics - Maryland Committee on Trauma" course from the American College of Surgeons in May 2014. Additionally, they undertook the "Leadership Development and Assessment Course" in the US Army in 2007 and attended "Airborne School" in 2006. Nathan also holds certifications in "Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED" from the American Red Cross, with completion in May 2018.
