Jörg Schlegel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jörg started their career at Tecan AG as a Market Manager from 1998 to 2000. Jörg then worked at Siemens Schweiz AG as the Director of Marketing and Strategy from 2001 to 2002. After that, they joined Sensorix AG as the Head of Application and Product Management from 2002 to 2004.
In 2004, Jörg became the CEO of raytest Schweiz AG, holding the position until 2010. Jörg then moved on to work at Merck Millipore as the European Imaging Flow Cytometry Specialist from 2012 to 2014.
From 2014 to 2019, Jörg served as the VP Research at Zellkraftwerk. In 2015, they took on the role of CEO at Elysia-raytest GmbH and is currently on the board of directors at the parent company, Elysia SA.
Jörg's most recent position is as the CEO of BioInnovas AG, a role they have held since 2010.
Jörg Schlegel has a diverse education history. Jörg obtained a Dr. sc. nat. degree in Cell Biology/Biochemistry from ETH Zürich, graduating in 1983. Later, they attended KV Zürich Business School and earned an Eid. Dipl. Marketingleiter degree in Sales and Marketing, completing their studies in 2003. Additionally, Jörg Schlegel holds certifications such as Eidgenössisch Diplomierter Marketingleiter from Swiss Marketing, obtained in 2003, and Eidg. Dipl. Natw. ETH from ETH Zürich, obtained in 1984.

Elysia-raytest group provides Quality Control Solutions to the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and nuclear/PET industries. Presenting the QC-CUBICLE turnkey QC-system to the market in 2015, Elysia-raytest reached an important milestone in becoming a leading integrated solution provider.
