Mike Fenn

Mike Fenn has extensive work experience in the technology and intellectual property litigation fields. Mike started their career as an Electronics Engineering Co-op at Abiomed in 2002, followed by a Software Engineering Co-op position at the same company in 2003.

In 2004, Mike joined Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems as a Graduate Student in their Advanced Study Program, where they conducted research on radar signal processing and achieved optimizations in radar signal processing C code as part of their Master of Science project. Mike then worked as a Software Developer and Integrator, Systems Engineering Analyst and Algorithm Developer, Systems Engineering Technical Lead, and Software Engineering Technical Lead, taking on various technical roles and responsibilities within the company.

In 2011, Mike joined Elysium Digital LLC as a Computer Scientist, Consulting and Testifying Expert, where they provided expert consulting and testimony on technology-related intellectual property litigation matters. This role was later transferred to Stroz Friedberg, an Aon company, through a company acquisition in 2015. At Stroz Friedberg, Mike held the positions of Director, Intellectual Property, and Vice President, Intellectual Property, where they continued to serve as a consulting and testifying expert in technology-related intellectual property litigation and digital forensics.

In 2019, Elysium Digital became a separate business line within Aon Corporation, and Mike continued their work there as the Vice President, specializing in testifying and consulting as an expert in technology-focused intellectual property and other commercial litigation, with a focus on software disputes.

Mike Fenn attended Cornell University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Mike then pursued further education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Science degree in the same field. In 2015, they obtained the GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certification from GIAC.
