Ian Britton

Ian Britton is a seasoned forensic psychologist with extensive experience in managing treatment programs for high-risk offenders. Currently serving as Principal Forensic Psychologist at Elysium Healthcare since June 2021, Ian previously held the position of Lead Senior Practitioner Psychologist at Thames Valley Community Rehabilitation Company from September 2016 to June 2021. Ian's earlier roles include Practice Manager Psychologists and Programmes and Principal Psychologist at the Department of Corrections in New Zealand (April 2011 - August 2016), where responsibilities included managing treatment units for violent and sexual offenders. Ian's academic background includes a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education Professional Practice from Coventry University, along with additional degrees in Occupational Psychology and Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire, University of Northampton, and Swansea University.
