Erica Strauss began their work experience as a Commercial Leadership Program participant at Beckman Coulter in 2009. Erica completed a 9-month sales training program and gained experience in sales management, marketing, finance, client services, and product development. During this time, they also received extensive training in laboratory diagnostics equipment. Erica then transitioned to the role of Chemistry & Immunoassay Capital Equipment Consultant at Beckman Coulter, where they managed a field-based territory and maintained a client base of over 100 hospitals and laboratories. Erica'sresponsibilities included selling capital equipment hardware and providing solutions for large-scale laboratory testing. In 2013, Erica joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager, where they managed a $3.3M territory in New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. Erica sold clinical laboratory consumables, instrumentation, and diagnostic products. Erica's most recent work experience is as Business Development at Elysium Marketing Group, LLC, starting in 2023.

Erica Strauss completed their undergraduate education from 2005 to 2009 at Penn State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from the Smeal School of Business. In 2008, they briefly attended the University of Seville in Seville, Spain, although no degree or field of study is specified for that period.
