Dr. Johannes Mellenthin

Dr. Johannes Mellenthin is a seasoned professional in data analytics and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Partner and Head of Data Analytics & AI at :em engineering methods AG since October 2025. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Adastra from December 2019 to September 2025, such as Vice President Cloud DACH and Head of Data Science. Dr. Mellenthin has a background in education and research, having completed a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics at The University of Göttingen and holding multiple degrees in Physics, including a Master's from the Technical University of Munich. Educational pursuits also include an ongoing MBA at Mannheim Business School.
